I have always been inspired by the strength of women and the miracle of birth. That passion is what led me to become a birth doula—it is my calling to walk alongside families during one of the most transformative times of their lives. I believe every parent deserves to feel supported, informed, and empowered as they welcome their baby, and it is an honor to provide that care.

 

My journey began over 15 years ago as a childcare provider in the San Francisco Bay Area. Working closely with families, I discovered a natural gift for connecting with newborns and offering guidance that helped parents feel confident in their new roles. Over time, my passion for nurturing both babies and parents led me to train as a Postpartum Doula, where I focused on supporting families during the delicate transition after birth. Building on that foundation, I later expanded into birth work, becoming a trained Birth Doula so I could support families across the full spectrum—from prenatal preparation, through labor and delivery, to postpartum care.

Today, through Little Feet Doula Services, I provide compassionate, personalized support for families throughout the Bay Area. My approach centers on emotional encouragement, comfort measures, and evidence-based guidance, helping parents navigate their birth preferences and find confidence in their choices. Whether it’s preparing a birth plan, offering hands-on comfort during labor, or sharing practical newborn care tips, I am there to reassure and guide every step of the way.

 

What matters most in my practice is equity and inclusivity. In my most recent role as part of the Health Equity and Diversity team at Sutter Health, I have had the privilege of supporting families from a wide range of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. As a fluent Spanish speaker with deep ties to the Hispanic community, I am especially passionate about bridging gaps in access to care and ensuring that all families feel seen, heard, and supported during their birth journey.

 

Every family deserves a positive, empowering birth experience. I am honored to provide the care, knowledge, and encouragement that makes that possible.

On a personal level, I am also a proud mom of two boys. Having walked through pregnancy and birth myself, I know firsthand how much difference the right support can make. I benefited from the guidance of a doula during my own births, and that experience deepened my commitment to ensuring that other parents feel the same care, reassurance, and empowerment that I did.
